Feed back is very important because if all you got was a percent you wouldn't learn from your mistakes bacause you don't know what the mistakes Were. Having peers edit your work benifits you because you have someone who can relate to your work. Having a teacher give you feed back is even more important because teachers know what they're talking about and they give the mark so you need to give the work and effort they want. Having a peer or teacher giving you feed back also can give you more or better idea.
If the teacher stoped giving a mark and just gave feed back it would would be bad because all u get is how you can fix your writing and your don't know the quality of your work.
Actually, the feedback would absolutely indicate the quality of your work. What does the mark really mean? I could use all the key words from the rubric to explain to you what was great, what was good, and what needs more work. From that you could determine exactly (or nearly) what your mark would be.
This blog is for my own curiosity. I really do want to know what you think so be honest.
